Does The Uk Have A Free Trade Agreement With Australia

Since the 1970s, Australia has adopted unilateral, bilateral and multilateral trade liberalization, with average tariffs increasing from 18.6% in 1991 to 0.9% in 2017. The overall impact on resource use and biodiversity around the world is difficult to assess, as some additional production could be the result of a shift in trade from less efficient producers in countries with lower environmental standards. For example, some major agricultural exporters use deforestation for agricultural land use, with negative consequences for both biodiversity and climate change. Until the final outcome of the negotiations is known, it is difficult to accurately quantify the effects of trade diversion.
